Hotel FAQ

“How do I schedule boarding or Doggie Daycare?”

  • Existing Hotel clients may schedule by calling the Hotel directly at (318)473-8177 Opt. 2, online (link to reserve a suite), or by email: vhogan@montgomery.net
  • New Hotel boarders must schedule an in-person tour of the facility, at which point there is also a Hotel Admission Form and Liability Waiver that must be completed. You may schedule by calling the Hotel directly at (318)473-8177 Opt. 2, online (link to reserve a suite), or by email: vhogan@montgomeryanimal.net
    * We encourage advance notice of boarding requests, especially during holidays and summer months due to higher volume of boarders.

“What can I bring?”

  • The Hotel provides luxury, spacious dog suites and cat condos designed for comfort and safety. Also provided: Purina Proplan EN dry food, food and water bowls, bedtime treats, fleece and fluffy blankets, cots (dogs), toys for outside play (dogs). You are not required to bring anything, but feel free to bring items of convenience or comfort.
  • Own food must be brought in gallon size bags. No large containers or bags over 6lbs, please!
    * Puppy pads are not allowed in the suites.

“When do they go outside?”

  • Potty breaks and play times are at 7am, 12pm, 3pm, and 8pm Mon – Fri.
  • Potty breaks and play times are at 7am, 3pm, and 8pm Sat, Sun, and holidays.
  • Small group play time is typically reserved for doggie daycare on Tues, Wed, and Thurs.

“When are the check in and check out times?”

  • If you are checking in or out Mon – Fri, you may check in from 7am – 5:00pm. If you are checking in or out on a holiday or during the weekend you must schedule a 7am OR 4pm pick up/drop off directly with the Hotel manager.
  • To avoid being charged a night of boarding you must give us a 24-hour notice of cancellation or early pick up.

“How can I communicate with the Hotel?”

  • Direct communication to the Hotel is via phone (318)473-8177 Opt. 2 or email vhogan@montgomeryanimal.net Mon – Fri 7am – 5:30pm. These avenues are NOT actively monitored after hours, over the weekend, or on holidays. If you want to try to contact someone over a weekend or holiday you may message the Montgomery Animal Hospital + Hotel Facebook page, but it is not actively monitored.

“Do you offer any complimentary services while boarding?”

  • When your canine or feline furry friends board for three or more nights we schedule a complimentary facetime, or a set of pictures, once during their stay.
  • When your canine furry friends board for three or more nights we offer a complimentary bath the night before your planned pick up.
  • Pets receive complimentary bedtime treats every night after the 8pm potty break.
