“When are the check in and check out times?”

  • If you are checking in or out Mon – Fri, you may check in from 7am – 6:00pm. If you are checking in or out on a holiday, Saturday, or Sunday, you must schedule a pick up/drop off directly with the Hotel manager. The hotel and weekend pick up/drop off window is between 2pm-3pm. Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and New Year’s Day are black out dates. There is no pick up/drop off on these days.
  • To avoid being charged a night of boarding you must give us a 24-hour notice of cancellation or early pick up.

“How can I communicate with the Hotel?”

  • Direct communication to the Hotel is via phone (318)473-8177 Opt. 2 or email vhogan@montgomeryanimal.net Mon – Fri 8am – 6:00pm. These avenues are NOT actively monitored after hours, over the weekend, or on holidays. If you want to try to contact someone over a weekend or holiday you may message the Montgomery Animal Hospital + Hotel Facebook page, but it is not actively monitored.

“Do you offer any complimentary services while boarding?”

  • When your canine or feline furry friends board for three or more nights we schedule a complimentary facetime, or a set of pictures, once during their stay.
  • When your canine furry friends board for three or more nights we offer a complimentary bath the night before your planned pick up.
  • Pets receive complimentary bedtime treats every night after the 9pm potty break.

“Are staff present 24/7?”

  • We do not use the term 24/7 because we strive for clear/concise communication with pet parents. We have a full team of staff on site on week days from 7am – 6pm. On the weekends/holidays, a care taker and a veterinary technician is with the pets from 7am-9am and 3pm-5pm.  An overnight team member comes in every day at 5:30pm and stays with the pets until 7am the next morning. A hotel manager is also here on the weekends from 2:00pm-3:00pm. So while staff is present almost 24/7, there are a couple of hours on weekends/holidays where a team member is not on site. During these timeframes, we do have security systems in place for monitoring and staff near by that can check in if there is an emergency.
